Intro Spective Fusion and the Syndicate Revolution

AUTODIVINE

48-page album containing 6-track CD/EP (Jemma Press, Piraeus, Nov 2009)
Written and drawn by Con Chrisoulis

What began as an effort to self-publish a comicbook of a pretty straight-forward adaptation of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four with a twist, ala Bowie's 'Diamond Dogs', turned out to a full-on glam-rock concept album, titled 'Intro Spective Fusion and the Syndicate Revolution', albeit with a post-punk sound, which was written and scored by me and performed in Greece, in character as Intro Spective Fusion, the album's protagonist and a futuristic revolutionary, with my then band Autodivine from 2005-2010.
Everything looked peachy and promising for a while; alas after so much effort, the band split up in Jan 2010..

An EP version of the concept album was released by Jemma Press, containing 3 of the concept album's songs, plus another 3 'urban anthems'. The remaining songs were never released, nor was the artwork; however, you can check it out in it's entirety and listen to it here or order the EP from Jemma Press.
I'll complete this entry on the history of the concept album at a later date, incuding photos, scans of preliminary sketches etc; until then keep your eyes peeled on the Newspage of the website as the update will be announced there!
Until then, you can check out the website that I created for the band here (it has a lot of info on the band and its history)

As I am writing this (Mar 2012) a new concept album is being written, which will feature many elements of 'Intro Spective Fusion & the Syndicate Revolution', but with a whole new storyline and sound, which I'll perform with a new UK ensemble. More news on that will also be announced at a later date!

Below is the last performance of Autodivine on the popular Greek TV show, 'Radio Arvila' (Jan 2010). We played 'Birth (& the Teenage Years', which was the first track of the EP and the introduction to the concept album.
