Rebel Rebel is the serialised graphic novel biography of David Bowie’s entire life, detailing Bowie’s initial efforts in songwriting, as well as the historical events, artists and movements that influenced his later output.
Chapter Fourteen focuses on David Bowie’s days as a Tibetan Buddhist trainee monk in 1967, the making of his first film ‘The Image’, and his best friend’s, George Underwood, mental health breakdown.
Each cover features a hand-painted golden astral sphere on David’s forehead, a symbol he used extensively during his Ziggy Stardust days.
